The county's tremendous growth has left homeowners struggling to find reliable help when needing work done in their homes. He and his partners feel that Ace Handyman Services of the Sandhills will help meet those needs.

Thomas may be the youngest member of our team, but he brings an impressive depth of hands-on experience. He grew up working alongside his father, a general contractor, where he learned the foundations of quality craftsmanship early on. Before joining Ace Handyman, Thomas further sharpened his skills working for a cabinet company, giving him a strong eye for detail and precision. His combination of youth, skill, and dedication makes him a standout craftsman committed to delivering excellent work in every home he serves.

Bentley grew up learning the trade firsthand while working alongside his father, a seasoned general contractor. As one of our younger craftsmen, he brings fresh energy paired with a humble confidence that comes from years of real, hands-on experience. Bentley takes pride in doing the job right and approaches every project with respect, reliability, and a genuine desire to serve homeowners well.

Kathy is a mother of 2 who has been Randy's partner in both the wholesale business and at their two Ace Hardware stores. As a homeowner and owner/manager of a vacation rental property, she has considerable experience in the challenges of finding qualified craftsmen to work on projects in a timely manner with good communication. She loves the idea of working with qualified craftsmen who will treat homeowners and their property professionally and courteously.

Phil McNutt, currently the General Manager, brings a background in construction and 23 years of military service to his leadership role. Starting out in construction, Phil honed practical skills and a solid work ethic early on. His extensive military experience further shaped his management abilities and strategic thinking, making him a decisive leader. He's recognized for his dedication to operational excellence and client satisfaction, ensuring operations run smoothly with a keen eye on efficiency and top-notch quality. Phil thrives in fostering a collaborative work environment driven by integrity and professionalism, fueled by his passion for leadership and continuous improvement both at work and in his community engagements.

Office Manager
Mattie is originally from California and now residing in Cameron, North Carolina since the fall of 2023, serves as the office manager at Ace Handyman Services Sandhills, where she ensures operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Outside of work, Mattie enjoys immersing herself in literature and caring for her extensive collection of houseplants. She shares her life with her husband, a dedicated member of the Marine Corps, and together they cherish their time with their two beloved fur companions, Sushi and Sake. Mattie embraces each day with enthusiasm, grateful for the opportunities for personal growth and new adventures that come her way.

Chris retired from UPS after dedicating 37 years to the company. A proud native of North Carolina, he relocated to Southern Pines in 2014, where he has since embraced his passion for craftsmanship and community service. Chris has found joy in serving as the go-to handyman for his own home, his neighbors' residences, and his local church. His skillful touch and dedication to quality work have earned him a reputation as a reliable and resourceful problem-solver.

Tyler brings more than 20 years of military experience paired with a strong background in construction. His discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things the right way translate directly into the quality of work he delivers in your home—bringing the same dependable values and trusted service people expect from an Ace Hardware store right to your doorstep. He is currently pursuing his General Contractor’s license to further expand his skills and leadership in the field.
