I started Ace Handyman Services in 2005 after a career in Operations Management for a multi-national instrumentation manufacturer. The chance to have a real impact on people's lives combined with my passion for home renovation made handyman services a perfect match! Over the last twenty years I have the privilege of building and leading a team of customer-centered home improvement professionals, focused on delivering friendly, helpful service to our neighbors.
Outside of work I am an avid skier and love spending time on Cape Cod in the summer. Maintaining a healthy work / life balance and time with family, friends and my dog are important to me. I make my home in Medford with my partner, Jim. Together we have five adult children and two grandchildren.

Office Manager
Janice has been our Office Manager since 2022. She came to us from the Senior Care industry and has an extensive background in senior living and moving. Janice's passion for helping people comes through everyday working with our customers. She lives in Woburn with her dog Rosy and cats Bolivia and Licorice. She has two adult sons and two grandchildren.

Lead Craftsman
Matt is the newest member of our team having started in early 2025. Matt holds his Construction Supervisor's License and has an extensive background in home improvement and ran his own construction company for many years. Matt is also a real estate agent. He lives in Reading with his wife and children.

Alan joined Ace Handyman Services in early 2024. Alan has over 25 years of experience in home improvement with a passion for finish carpentry and mid-century modern homes. A native New Englander Alan recently returned to the area after spending time in Myrtle Beach SC. He lives in Beverly with his partner.
Derek M.
Craftsman
Derek has been with Ace Handyman Services since 2023. Derek grew up in the trades working alongside his father and brother. He is a well-rounded carpenter with extensive experience in doors and windows. He resides in Waltham with his daughter.
Dan R.

Dan has been part of the Ace Handyman Services team since 2022. Dan has many years of experience in the trades including apartment complex management. In addition to his maintenance and repair skills, Dan is a mason and enjoys working with stone and concrete.

Mike joined Ace Handyman Services in the spring of 2021. Mike comes from a long line of carpenters, has extensive experience in sign making and a passion for woodworking. He lives in Billerica with his wife and cat.
