Ace Handyman Services is Now Ace Handyman Services
It's a big day for Ace Handyman Services Dallas. Most of you realize that we are locally owned, most may not realize we are one of roughly 154 franchises run by a franchisor based out of Colorado. A few months ago, Ace Handyman Services was acquired by Ace Hardware. They are a 95-year-old brand with the tag line: "The Helpful Hardware Folks". It's an honor to be chosen by this group, and they are entrusting us to "Bring Helpful to Your Home".So, today 3/2/2020 after 10 years and 2 months as Ace Handyman Services Dallas, we become Ace Handyman Services Dallas.
It's business as usual- the same owner, the same management & the same TEAM, just a different name.

Ace Handyman Services just won the “America’s Best Companies for Customer Service” in our category in Newsweek Magazine. That is just awesome. As the owner of the local Dallas, TX franchise location I am very proud to be one of the many owners in this organization that realizes our customers are the best. During our biweekly meetings, we constantly talk about doing the right thing and treating our customers properly. That is something we pride ourselves on. The nature of our daily work sometimes can be frustrating, because we are oftentimes hired to work on something that is broken in the house. That means it’s aged/old. Quite often repairing the one thing makes another fail. Sometimes it is extremely frustrating for both us and the customer. In each instance we take a moment to evaluate what happened and the best way to close out the project. Treating our customers, how they want to be treated is the most important thing we can do. I’ve realized that our craftsman and office manager can only treat our customers this way, if they feel like they are treated that way by me too. So, as the owner of Ace Handyman Services Dallas, I am celebrating this win with my team. Ace Handyman Services Dallas was recognized as one of Angie’s List top contractors across the US. We were treated to a trip to Las Vegas for a celebration and information session last Fall. A few months ago, it was announced that we were awarded the 2017 Angie’s List Superior Service Award in 7 categories. They are: Plumbing Carpentry Painting – Interior Doors Drywall Electrical Locksmiths We are proud partners of this organization and have been for the last nine years. Lakewood Service League’s (LSL) monthly membership meeting 3/20/18 Stacy Huston, President & Ruth Chustz, Office & Scheduling Manager attended and presented at Lakewood Service League’s (LSL) monthly membership meeting this evening. Stacy Huston is an Associate Member of LSL, who joined in 2008. Her first message was a compliment to the group stating that some of her most favorite friends are people she met being active in this organization. Even saying some of her best friends today are LSL members! Ace Handyman Services is the March Lakewood Service League’s website sponsor. As part of that they are asked to present a brief bit about their company. Stacy, the President of HMM shared the following: “We are a locally owned and operated construction company that focuses on repairs & maintenance to residential and commercial properties. Just call or text Ruth, our Scheduling Manager at 214-205-2304.” Exciting news from Ace Handyman Services Dallas! 10/11/17 Ace Handyman Services, Dallas loves to support our local schools. Stonewall Jackson Elementary had its annual carnival this last weekend. We were called in prior to the carnival to help out with the famous, Wheel of Wonder, as it was in disrepair from so much use. Our craftsman Chris took it to his workshop and spent more than ½ of day adjusting it and painting it so that it would be ready for the big day. As the volunteers were unloading all the carnival items getting ready for set up they realized there was a hole in the roof of the storage building used to store all the props and supplies. Lead Craftsman, Brandon to the rescue, repairing the roof so upon putting the items back they would be safe and sound for the next time they were needed. We sponsored the DJ Booth, and I am sure I saw at least one our craftsmen showing off his dances moves Saturday. SJE Carnival 2017 was a great time. It showed the amazing community that we are so proud to call ours. East Dallas Rocks! Our team was certified to be Ring installers. What is Ring? This company makes the Ring Video Doorbell and Ring Video Cameras. These are smart doorbells & cameras that through your home’s Wi-Fi connect to your other smart phones. It allows you to answer your doorbell live from wherever you are with your smartphone. The camera/doorbell has a wide-angle lens and a microphone & speakers. The video component records what goes on in the areas around your home that you have set up to see. Ring has a full line of products that help you monitor your home. Our team of craftsmen are installing these daily. We can help you decide what products you might want to install for your home. Most of our customers start with the RingPro by ordering off Amazon. As the owner of HMM Dallas, I am excited about our team and the training on installation of these products. I think anything we can do to help reduce the crime in our neighborhoods is a good thing! HMM Dallas Partners with Door Devil 9/20/2017 There are only a few products that we keep stock on hand for our customers. One of these is a product called the “Door Devil”. This product is installed on in your door jamb on the lock side of the door. It reinforces the door frame/jamb and prevents someone from being able to kick in your door. It’s awful to think that a product like this is necessary. We typically install this AFTER someone has had a door kicked in to prevent it from happening again. Of course, a better choice would be to be proactive and install one the next time we are out on a job for you. Our craftsmen all keep a supply on hand!
